Daegu Restaurant Visit Summary

Busan Anmyeonok

Visited Daegu for a combination of property inspection, travel, and a restaurant visit - a trifecta of reasons!

True to its Daegu-frica reputation, we were greeted with warm (or perhaps scorching?) weather.

While pondering menu options, we ultimately decided on a Pyongyang naengmyeon (cold noodles) restaurant!!

The restaurant's simple signboard, reflecting its long history, exuded an aura of deliciousness…

Price List

Perhaps because I'm accustomed to the exorbitant naengmyeon prices in Seoul, the prices here didn't seem too steep.

The portions were also quite generous!

Jeoyuk

The savory, simple jeoyuk (grilled pork)! The taste was definitely a win!

I judged that it would pair well with the noodles. So, I only ate a little and waited for the naengmyeon to come out.

I'm serious about naengmyeon.

Oops… a rookie blogger's mistake – I forgot to take a picture of the naengmyeon at the naengmyeon restaurant…

I devoured it as soon as it came out and completely forgot to take a photo. Haha!

As expected from an old restaurant, I was able to experience a unique Pyongyang naengmyeon flavor unique to this restaurant.

I recommend a visit if you're a fan of Pyongyang naengmyeon.

Delicious!

This is a naengmyeon restaurant I'd like to revisit next time I come.
